Influenza, commonly known as flu, it is an infectious disease caused by a flu virus.  The most common symptoms of flu include: fever, runny nose, sore throat, muscle aches, headaches, coughing, sneezing and feeling tired.  These symptoms usually begin two days after exposure to the virus, and most less than a week at the most. Cough, however, may persist for more than two weeks. In children, there may be diarrhea and vomiting, but these are not common in adults. Mainly there are three types of influenza Type A, type B and type C which affect  persons.

The main symptoms of influenza  are Runny nose, Nasal congestion, Sneezing, Fever and chills, Sore throat, Hoarseness, Earache, Muscle pains, Cough, Irritated, watering eyes, petechial  rash, Fatigue , Headache and Reddened eyes, mouth, throat and nose. In children, gastrointestinal symptoms are as vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. Urgent warning signs of influenza are shortness of breath,  chest pain dizziness confusion and severe vomiting  but then relapse with a high fever and severe cough. Influenza generally lasts one to two weeks, with severe symptoms fade in two or three days. However, it could prolong weakness, fatigue, dry cough and decreased ability to exercise for three to seven days.

Pregnant women with influenza is also a greater chance of serious problems for the unborn child, including premature labor and delivery. Although cold and flu viruses can certainly make you uncomfortable especially when  you are pregnant and they are unlikely to cause abortion. Although about influenza studies shows in pregnant women has found no increased risk of miscarriage
