The main Causes of ear infections are bacteria, viruses and fungi.  More commonly, a cold, flu, allergies or smoking may be an incentive. Ratio of ear infection in childrens is  greater then aduls. Conditions that may increase the risk of ear infections in adults include,  type 2 diabetes eczema psoriasis that weaken immune  and earache may be a sign of an ear infection. However, if the earache go away after three days, it’s a good idea to visit a doctor. This is especially true for children. Whether you’re a child or an adult, you should see a doctor if you have, ear discharge, fever or loss of balance.

Ear infection symptoms:

The main symptoms of ear infections in childrens are earache inflammation pain, tenderness and vomiting diarrhea. Symptoms in adults  may include fever, pain, swelling and tenderness. Nausea vomiting, dizziness, diarrhea and inflammation earache and headache are also symptoms of ear infection. If earache or injury does not go away after three days, visit to a doctor. Always see a doctor in case of ear discharge, fever, or loss of balance with the ear infection.

How to get rid of an ear infection:

1-Ear Drops

Ear drops can reduce the pressure in the ear because of the fluid . People should read the instructions carefully and talk to your doctor before using ear drops to a child. Ear drops are not a permanent substitute for prescription ear drops or antibiotics, so people should be used only for a few days. In case the return of symptoms, people should see a doctor. It is important to remember that people shouldn’t use ear drops in baby tubes in their ears or the eardrum may rupture.

2- Massage

Gentle massage can help to reduce ear pain that radiates from the jaw or teeth or cause headache tension. You can massage as well as the surrounding muscles. For example  if the hurt area behind the ear, try to massage neck and jaw muscles. Massage may also help with pain from an ear infection.

Best technique of masage is using a downward motion. Apply pressure  just behind the ears and down the neck. The downward pressure continues and work forward to the ears. This type of massage may help drain excess fluid from the ears, and prevent pain from getting worse.

3- Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar gargled also give help to reduce ear infections. It’s not directly effective as ear drops but can offer additional help, especially for colds, flu and upper respiratory infections. so along with the Apple Cider vinegar infection may help mild ear infections and earaches at home. It has antimicrobial properties, which means it kills bacteria and fungi, and possibly viruses.

How to Use:

Mix apple cider vinegar evenly with warm water. Gargle with it for 30 seconds for  two to three times per day to reduce ear infections or symptoms.
