Depression is a common and serious medical illness that negatively affects how you feel, how you think and how you act. Fortunately, it’s also treatable. Depression causes grief and loss of interest in activities that  you once enjoyed. Depression is more than just feeling  down  and serious illness caused by changes in brain chemistry. Research tells us that other factors contributing to the emergence of depression, including genetics, and changes in levels of hormones. Types Of Depression:

1-Major depressive disorder (MDD)

When people use the term depression, they are generally referring to major depressive disorder (MDD).
